IMG Jewelers is a fourth-generation business that has been a trusted member of the Cleveland-area community since 1949.
"IMG" represents the initials of Steve Greenberg's father, Isadore Moses Greenberg, who brought the skills he learned from his grandfather to America. Isadore's mother was a skilled watchmaker and served as a living example for her son to provide people with only the best they could offer. Isadore and his family, who had already prevailed through a revolution and a world war, emerged with some of the finest work in the area by mid-century and have been trusted jewelers in Cleveland ever since. The knowledge passed forth by Isadore's family along with the diamond setting skills he honed, eventually led him to Cleveland. In 1965, at the age of only 13, Izzy's son Steve, started his journey in the jewelry industry following in his father's footsteps.
Fast forward to 1998 when Steve successfully transitioned to a new vision for IMG and continued to serve the Cleveland area. Steve's daughter, Jessica, grew up in the family store and always had a passion for the industry. Bringing her vast knowledge from her years of experience in the heart of the diamond capital, New York City, and learning from the GIA (Gemological Insitute of America) she is continueing the legacy.
